About the Author
Susan Yaremczuk was born in Brantford, Ontario, Canada and studied Physical and Occupational Therapy at the University of Toronto. After an exciting career of working at hospitals with emotionally disturbed teenagers, the criminally insane and at a school for physically challenged blind children Yaremczuk retired to follow her passion of writing.The idea for her third novel The Phrenologist was prompted by an old photograph of her great grandfather which is portrayed on the cover of the book. The author's two previous novels Umbelliferae and its sequel Mother Die were instigated by stories and legends of Newfoundland told to her by her paternal grandmother. Yaremczuk a widow of four years now lives in Saint George Ontario dividing her time between writing her next novel The Silver Thorn and her four children and her amazing grandchildren Alexander and Sebastien....
