The word tornado fits the tongue perfectly because, of its destructive nature. When a tornado hits the ground; it hits the ground running and if you're in its path you will get hit. It shows no remorse, no sympathy, and apologizes to no one. That's the way most people are today; they stir up mess, they backbite, lie, and they gossip! A tornado reminds me of a selfish person (me, me, and me): It could care less about what and how others are feeling; it just wants its way. Just look at the end results of every strong tornado; lives are lost, debris is left behind, people lose valuable items and recovery is set in motion. This is all because of one event! The same goes for the tongue; it only needs one opportunity to damage someone else's life; if given the chance.
