The Poet, Long Live by Sireena Burroughs

The Poet, Long Live is not just a book of poetry. It is a collection of words; symbols tenderly wrapped to express, to point to energies far greater than words could ever be: the energies of love, truth and compassion. It voices the saga of human struggle, courage and triumph. Globally, the pivotal present moment at hand is where faith is required, truth is unavoidable, understanding is needed, and healing is a necessity because revolution is here. Evolution is inevitable. We must evolve or perish. The Poet, Long Live reminds us all of who we actually are -powerful, magnificent, majestic beings - and of the inexplicable beauty, freedom and joy we are capable of creating, knowing and experiencing when we come to recognize our true Self.

About the Author

Sireena Burroughs (1984- ) has written poetry since she was 11 years old. Writing was her salvation; her great escape as a timid young girl, and she continued to write poetry, short stories, and essays as she began to evolve into a young woman.

However, she never shared her writings with any one until she simultaneously underwent the greatest and yet most valuable challenges in her life: an illness that caused a near death experience, a heartbreaking dissolution of a romantic relationship and an end to a successful career. These events brought about a powerful awakening that led her to write The Poet, Long Live.

This former elementary teacher is a blossoming entrepreneur and writer. The world can expect to receive much more in the time to come from this lover of art, literature, music, and everything in between.
