In this second book in The POET AND THE PAINTER series, the Poet and the Painter meet the Entomologist who needs to find unusual insects for his science project and they know just who to turn to: the Stranger who loves to eat insects. They're off again by rainbow, first to prehistoric Patagonia where the Stranger is attacked by giant dragonflies. He abandons the kids who survive more action-packed adventures with Shakespeare, Dr. Livingstone, Princess Isabel, Captain Cook and others who teach them more than what they bargained for.
