Set against the background of a military coup, two journalists, Johnny Brutus and Christian Verson, travel to Uganda to cover the event, in the hopes of writing their "breakout" story. Their source in the war-torn country is an eccentric English marijuana dealer, Rudy Witt, who operates out of the beautiful Ssese Island Archipelago in Lake Victoria. The journalists' noble intentions are soon corrupted by Witt's extravagant lifestyle, and their search for the elusive new President takes a backseat to their growing desire to get their hands on the millions being made by the socially and morally retarded Witt. With the Presidential interview in hand, made possible by the help of a crazed French hunter, Johnny and Christian head back to the USA to receive their applause from the world's media. The story then comes to a head as each of the men is slowly targeted and taken out by the real mastermind.
