Hagee shows us how the Prophetic Blessing started with Adam and Eve and goes down through the book with Matthew, Jeremiah, on down the line to Abraham . Pastor Hagee goes on to tell us how to release and receive the blessing. Who wouldn't want this blessing passed on to our children and grandchildren? I want to pass on ‘that we are all born to be blessed’ and other biblical truths I learned from Pastor Hagee to my children and grandchildren. I keep Prophetic Blessing handy to help with my study of the Bible. Hagee writes a section called ‘Think On This’, they give you allot to ponder upon how deeply God’s blessings and promises are for all of us. I felt His presence, warmth and love for me as I read this book. I have learned allot from Pastor Hagee, this will not be the last book I read authored by Pastor Hagee. I thought his knowledge of the Bible and his writing were wonderful. I would love to hear him speak in person, even on television. I would highly recommend this book to everyone who wants to learn more about 'The Prophetic Blessings' and about the promises and blessing from our God for all of us. Disclaimer: I received this book free from the Publisher for my honest and un-biased opinion.

This book is stock-full of history with regards to the prophetic. There are some fascinating connections with the Old Testament and Yeshua. One chapter goes over how the story of Joseph in Genesis parallels the story of Yeshua (of course, only to a degree). That was quite fascinating. Tons of Bible verses are quoted, which is nice. Abortion and other modern topics are discussed, as well, with a lot of passion on the author's part. What I particularly liked was how Hagee emphasized the history and fulfilled prophecy of the Jews--even going back to the 12 blessings of Israel's sons in Genesis and how they are fulfilled in modern history. Hagee also talks of loving Jews and being at peace with them. The history that Hagee goes into for the Jewish people and Israel is great. There were little errors here and there in the book. In one instance, the book of Jeremiah is listed as being from the Torah. The Torah is just the 5 books of Moses (first 5 books of the Bible). The whole OT is collectively known as the Tanach, which would include Jeremiah. My main criticism is when Hagee talks about the Name of "the Lord." His Name ain't Lord. Lord is just a title. His Name is YHWH. There are times when Hagee uses "Jehovah," which is also erroneous and not His true Name. That aside, this book is very scholarly. I particularly enjoyed the large print.

A very good book discussing the blessings that God has provided for our use. Although the first two sections leave you wondering how to apply the knowledge personally, this is brought to a beautiful conclusion in the third section. The third section gives you "hands on" guidance in applying the Prophetic Blessings in your life and the life of those you care about. Finally, Pastor Hagee's explanation of many well-known verses will open your eyes to new interpretations of those verses. He provides a great deal of detail into the meaning of the original Greek and Hebrew used by the authors of the original texts, expanding the meaning of many verses into a whole new realm.

In this book John Hagee writes about the power of the spoken word, and especially the words of God. This author believes huge blessings are available from the prayers found in the scriptures that are really prophecies. Examples of these prayer-prophecies are God's words to Adam and Eve and Jacob's deathbed words to Isaac's twelve sons. Hagee shows how historically each of Jacobs spoken prophecy-prayers came true. In the New Testament, Hagee shows how the verses called the Beatitudes are really prophetic prayers we can pray for our families. And our spiritual authorities can pray these prayers for us. These prayers can dramatically change our lives in many areas. Hagee explains the in-depth meanings of each prophecy-prayer and how these apply to each of us. However, for the prophecy-prayers to be effective they must be `received' and acted upon. And I do wonder somewhat about Hagee's thesis--is he maybe stretching the scriptures a bit? The Power of the Prophetic Blessing is a well-written, easy-to-read volume that can encourage readers, especially younger people and young parents.

Review: I enjoy reading books about Christian inspiration and spiritual growth - particularly the more unique topics - so when I got the chance to read John Hagee's The Power of Prophetic Blessing, I knew that I was in for some deep reflection. Being a Christian myself, I have heard many people exclaim how blessed they are by God, and how prayer and scriptural studies have helped them lead a happy and more fulfilled life; however, most people aren't really sure how to receive or use those blessings. I talk to God often, knowing that my prayers will be answered in whatever form they may come. The answer may not be what I want or expect, but I know that the Lord provides, even if the provisions are mysterious or unexpected. I have truly been blessed by the life I have been given, but I don't always know how to live it to the best of my abilities. That is why this book is so interesting, it not only details what men have sought for millions of years - happiness and a good/successful life - but it outlines the path to receiving God's blessings with examples from liturgical history; both from the Old and New Testaments. I like when Christian-based books cite scripture, the use of Bible verse makes the discussed topics easier to read, not to mention more accessible. Many Christians are guilty of not reading the bible from cover to cover - a somewhat daunting task - but the organized and condensed passages used in this book aid in enjoyment and comprehension. Each section is supported by the Bible's written word, and I felt a genuine truth to what I read. The book is well researched, to-the-point, and full of both personal and well-known stories of blessing and being blessed. The eight Proclaimations, (Your Children and Grandchildren,Your Wife, Your Business, Health and Healing, Time of Testing and Trial, Emotional Stability, The Favor of God, and Divine Prosperity), are a refreshing take on the modern prayer, allowing Christians to reflect on the deeper meaning behind their words of praise; truly bringing them closer to God. Great reference tool - recommended for readers interested in God's blessings throughout history, and ways to receive His blessings daily. Rating: On the Run (4/5) *** I received this book from the author (Worthy Publishing/Handlebar Marketing) in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

The Power of the Prophetic Blessing, offers an exciting message of encouragement and blessing for today and for generations to come. Hagee says, “Every blessing recorded in Scripture is available to you for the asking. You have not because you ask not. These blessings have the power to bring supernatural joy, and provide you peace of mind." Find out how to become blessed beyond your capacity to contain it. Deuteronomy 28 contains blessings regarding your personal life and your material possessions. Hagee walks you through the Hebrew meaning and Scriptural significance of the well-known blessing, “May the Lord bless you and keep you. May He make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you. And may He give you peace.” The Power of the Prophetic Blessing is not the first book out there regarding this topic, but it is easy to read and a good foundation to learn about the blessings God has for you and your loves ones. If you are new to this revelation you will love this book. In our complicated day we need good resources to focus on God’s love for us. When we apply what we learn then we will see the miracle of the blessing. I received this book from Worthy Publishing for my review
