I cannot remember the last time I read a book I did not like! This is one of them. I thought the book was poorly written. It seemed as though the book was written in sections, but the author forgot to complete each part. I sensed that whenever the author ran out of ideas, she repeated herself. Throughout the book you heard about the Victorian House! I was expecting something mysterious about the house and she never took you there! The sexy alien with a bad attitude barely had any special powers and became disoriented when transporting. Again, throughout the book you read about the sexy alien's main concern of knocking boots before his birthday, reclaiming his best friend's body who dies but cannot be found, then looking for a cure to take back to his planet, which he never found! His father dies and his healthy mother decides to join the father in death. NOT! The alien's younger brother had a bad attitude. The sexy alien's girlfriend's concern throughout the book was spying on the family and never really getting a story. At the end, she decides it's a bad idea because she's pregnant! Gee, saw that coming! Also, towards the end the FBI decides to keep a family member on earth, while they stand back and allow the rest of the family to leave! Oh! Come on! The FBI? Geeshck! The only highlight was the little sister and the book cover. If you haven't figured it out by now, I disliked the book and am sure I would not hurry to read another of this authors's book. What a waste of money!

If all men from other planets are this hot and sexy, it's time to line up for astraunaut school! Warning though: keep this book away from flammable liquids. It's positively incendiary!

the Price of Discovery is a great read! A little mystery, a little grit, lots of hot romance with a hunky alien. I wasn't disappointed!
