Poor character development. Character of Belle was annoying and Adam was barely there.

Title: The Prince's Captive Virgin - Once Upon a Seduction Book 1 Author: Maisey Yates Publisher: Harlequin Presents Published: 5-23-2017 Pages: 224 Genre: Romance Sub-Genre: Women's Contemporary Fiction ISBN: 9780373060702 ASIN: B01MPZOZI7 Reviewed For NetGalley and Harlequin Reviewer: DelAnne Rating: 4 Stars The parallel to Beauty and the Beast are over powering. Belle Chamberlain's gentle nature and lover of books covers for her father, when he runs afoul of the beast. I will say I kept superimposing images of Disney characters rather than imagining actual humans. Prince Adam Katsaros 0f Olympios is severely scarred from an accident which transforms him from the once handsome young man to the reclusive man hiding from the world and life. A well done story if you are a lover of fairy takes. Which I am. Adam is surly and fighting any softer feelings toward Belle. Belle's selfless nature has her willing to sacrifice anything to get her father the medical treatment he needs. It is that same trait that has he looking for the good in the same man that holds her prisoner. As you read you will understand. Although beautifully described the scenery but all I could pull to my mind's eye was the cartoon scenes and characters. My rating of "The Prince's Captive Virgin" is 4 out of 5 stars.
