Where was this when my teens were toddlers?! As my 15-year-old son said, "What a great subject for little kids!" Fun scenario. Captivating illustrations. It is the first book in my "When I'm a grandpa" library!

What a delightful book! I'm done being scared of monsters, now that Dan Richards has revealed how goofy and fun they are. And if they look anything like Robert Neubecker's colorful, weird illustrations, I'm going to be hunting them out. Great book!

Really enjoyed the book. Cute story, nicely written and great illustrations. Perfect for our 6-year old grandson. And fun for me as well.

Fun and wonderfully written story for kids! The illustrations are fantastic! A must read to your kids. I'm a nanny and the 4 year old I watch asked me to read it two times in a row. She loved it....
