Book is supposedly set in California, but you won't know it from the first chapter as everyone speaks in British slang. I thought it was in London. Author also thinks San Francisco and LA are right next to each other instead of 500 -600 miles apart, and seems to have never been to either. Don't think author has had a real job or real relationship either, just read a lot of romance novels. Plot is beyond cliche. Author should try again when she's out of "University", had a boyfriend, and gotten a passport. Or maybe switch to teenage English romance. Verdict: not even worth free.

Always appreciate a free read but being free is almost all this little story had going for it! The book read as if it was written by a very young immature individual. The characters were all over the place, one minute flirty and sexy, the next innocent and chaste. The story line was chaotic, shallow and predictable. The dialog between the characters was stiff and uncomfortable. It was akin to a first draft that needed a LOT of editing and fleshing out! I read the previews of the related books and they appeared to be much the same. All that said, I wish the author the best.

Overall this was a good, quick-read. Wouldn't mind reading the "upcoming" prequel and sequel, but like another reviewer, I had a problem with the blatantly British dialogue - at least make the character a tranplant, it would mske SOOOO much more sense.

Not terribly well written, but passable. Completely predictable, even for a romance novel. Not recommendable, but it was free, so I dont feel like I lost anything but an hour of my time.

Enjoy this book, just wish it was longer. Hard for me to buy the second book. Budget is to low. I hope you can afford books that have extra books.

AWFUL! I didn't make it into the 2nd chapter when it started into sexual activities! I'm glad this piece of garbage was free or I would have felt cheated!

133 pages, in desperate need of editing. Over done plor. Was okay in a few places but over all, it was another repeat. Nothing new. But it was a nice clean read and there were several unexpected turns. Chick lit, bit of humor, lite romance, no violence. Ages 16 and up. AD

Great story ... the only downfall i find is how this book ends ...i know other books were written as prequells but this should have been made as a finished book and possibly a continuence to there story if need be .... unsatissfied with the ending big time

Though the story id well written and gives incite intl both the characters views on eacb other it is rushed and is an already told story...ive read something similar on numerous occasions...pardon my spelling...and ive seen it in many movies. I just dont think that this is original but i like it enough to want to read the sequaling book...the lach of ingenuity is made up for by the emotion and romance demonstrated in the book as well as the huge cliff hanger on whar happens next with her job and their relationship...four out of five stars...okay for being free
