The Proposition Complete Series by Katie Ashley

The Proposition

With her thirtieth birthday looming, Emma Harrison finds her biological clock clanging and the elusive knight in shining armor yet to appear. She’s running out of options, especially after her gay best friend backs out from being her sperm donor. Of course, there’s always a sperm bank, but Emma fears a donor mix-up might impregnate her with the spawn of Satan.

Resident company womanizer, Aidan Fitzgerald, is used to always getting what he wants, especially in the bedroom. When Emma spurns his advances at the company Christmas party, he's determined to have her no matter what it takes. After Aidan learns of Emma's predicament, he is quick to offer a proposition that will benefit them both. He will father Emma's child, but she must conceive it with him naturally. Not one for hook-ups or casual sex, Emma is reluctant to take him up on his offer, but his charm, coupled with her intense desire for motherhood, wins out.

Soon their baby-making sessions become more than just physical. Aidan can't seem to walk away from her while Emma begins to wonder if Aidan could be the one. But can Aidan leave his past behind to become the man Emma needs him to be?

While the book was very predictable, the story was entertaining. Prospective readers should be aware however, that this book has a cliffhanger ending. I never would have bought this, even though it was free, if I had known that beforehand. The next book in the series had less than stellar reviews, so I am not going to bother buying it, especially since I am thoroughly annoyed that this practice is used to force readers into buying another book. Shame on you, Katie, for allowing this! Your ploy backfired with me!

I love strong women but these women are stupid as well as whiny. They cry over everything and are rigid in opinions. Unfortunately I bought the series bundled. Not worth the money. Your readers deserve better than this.

I really liked this book. It had the right amount of everything. I wish it didn't end the way it did.. Hope there are more stories to come with all the characters.

Beware, if purchasing individually they are cliff hangers which is not cool.

Amateur dialogue, unbelievable plots....First time I tried Katie Ashley's books. If I read any more, I'll be borrowing from the library instead of purchasing.

Ends in a cliff hanger. If you don't want to keep buying & buying to know the end. Don't buy this book.

Has a lot of spelling errors and grammar mistakes. Noah's Ark instead of Noah's Arc, etc. Detracted from being a decent read.

It's probably not the author's fault. I just find that this type of "romance" falls completely flat. I probably would have loved it if I was a teenager but as a wife and mother of two it just didn't strike a chord with me. I'm sure others will love it!
