Love this series, I don't think that I've skipped a single word written and being that it's the fourth book in the series that's saying something. It's been along time since a book has captured me this way. I have authors that I've been reading for years and now that I've found this I just can't put it down. Little sad that it's almost over.

As an avid reader I begin novels or series full of quiet optimism. More often than not I find many authors taking the obvious or easy out letting a good idea grow stagnant. Way too often disappointed when I read a book and can figure out a major plot point early on. Without spoiling it ( spoiler warnings are God sends.) I figured out this books point during the last book.... Yet I was still unable to not read! That's the power of truly gifted writer; the ability to draw you to lead you knowingly to a point and leave you not only satisfied but eager for more. Skip this series at your own loss.

This fourth entry in the series leads us to different sites in the world and introduces us to characters and histories both surprising and intriguing. In my reviews of the prior three books I have sung the praises of this new author. He has outdone himself with the twists and turns he has placed in this narrative. The book is as well written as its predcessors and rivets one's attenion and interest at an ever increasing pace. I found myself rushing because I felt I needed to get to the last book of the series to find how this story could possibly end. The story has been riveting from the beginning and this book brilliantly adds to the collection. I strongly recommend it.
