About the Author

For Terry Q. O’Brien, the seed to become an author was sown as early as high school when he began writing short stories which led to studying Creative Writing in college and, later, writing as an educator for thirty years. His writing journey brought him to write a historical science fiction time-travel adventure for young adults, The Quest for the Lost Amber Room, the debut installment in a series.

Terry is currently an adjunct faculty for Northeastern Illinois University. With a minor in filmmaking, when he isn’t writing, Terry enjoys live theatre, where he performs, acts, and writes play adaptations from screenplays and books. His daughter, Ashley, is currently a student at the University of Iowa. Terry lives in Lake Villa, Illinois with his dog, a Shiba Inu named Bella, and his cat, an American Orange named Stanley.
