Ella, Rose, Blaze, and Nick are four young siblings living together with their father in Michigan. Ranging in age from twelve to sixteen, life has been a struggle for them since their mother disappeared without a trace.
So when their father wins a radio contest for a vacation cruise, they all agree the trip would be a good way for them to relax and get their minds off their missing family member. But their dreams of a wonderful holiday on the sea come to a screeching halt when a catastrophe on board forces the passengers and crew to abandon ship.
Chaos ensues during the desperate scramble for the lifeboats. The four children are separated from their father but still manage to make it to safety on an inflatable raft with the help of a mysterious stranger. Will they all be able to put their differences aside and work together until they are rescued?
With chapters dedicated to each character's unique point of view, The Raft is a rousing, lighthearted adventure for fans of Twilight, The Hunger Games, and Percy Jackson.
