The rest of this series is $7.49. Why is this one still $15.49? Its not even the final book!

Like its series predessors, The Reaver by Richard Lee Byers is filled with dark tension, unlikely heroes and battle scenes described in such rich detail, one can almost smell the death in the air. Anton is a cold, hardened Reaver,a rogue, but when The Chosen, young Stedd comes into his life, there is a new side of Anton, that begins to bloom. He seems to gain a heart, a lighter side to his darkness. Stedd’s innocence is endearing, too trusting, too gentle at times, but growing up quickly in the school of hard knocks. With the Red Wizard, Umara, a powerful and arrogant woman, these three stand together as an unlikely force.
By utilizing a change of perspective throughout, Richard Lee Byers draws wonderful contrast and gives great depth to the continuing tale of magic, Spell Plagues, gods and goddesses, good vs evil. Wonderful details and world building are presented in heavy doses in the beginning, leaving the imagination primed for the action that is to follow. This may be my favorite addition to the Sundering series so far!
I received an ARC edition in exchange for my honest review from Wizards of the Coast.
