Very well written!

The author is a masterful storyteller and her subject fascinating. The Lubavitchers have long captured the imagination of American people of faith -- while also winning the grudging admiration of First-Amendment advocates. Finally someone tells their behind-the-scenes story for the rest of us to learn and adapt. If like me you're interested in the trajectory of religion in the 21st century, or if you're interested in learning about an American success story, or if you're simply intrigued by these Jewish cowboys picking you out on street-corners, this book is for you!

The Author creates an accurate picture of the chabad presence worldwide. Additionally the title chosen for this book could not be better descriptive. As a lubavitcher myself the one point which could have been researched further was the examples that she gives in listing old lubavitcher chassidim. Shlomo Carlebach as effective as he was in being mikarev Jews who have strayed from the right path and despite the fact that the Rebbe himself told him that the world needs him, is not your quintessential Lubavitcher Chassid and for a book of this caliber and stature the names of chassidim could have been more prominent.
