I read about this book on one of the blogs I follow. I entered the contest they were hosting and won the book. I really liked the cover and the blurb. Rebound pact definitely lives up to the cover and blurb. I love big brother’s best friend trope romances. The Rebound Pact represents that trope very well. The fact that both the hero and the heroine has been in love with each other since they were younger, but fought their feelings because of her big brother/his best friend was amazing to me. I thought it was hilarious that they thought they could stay within the realms of their initial pact. These two had chemistry that burned up the sheets, countertops, desks, just wherever they were. Max is an annoying big brother/best friend. I don’t understand how he could keep them apart for this long. I really hope we get his story and hope he has to work super hard for it. I hope Darla is involved. She’s a little spitfire. The secondary characters filled this book up. They were fun and I can’t wait to read more about them. I really hope Ms. Knight continues and builds a series with these characters. They each deserve their own tale.

Sizzling Sweet!  Ohh.. I really loved this book a lot! I loved both Holden and Gabrielle and thought the story was well developed and had my heart pumping quite a few times. The only annoying character was Gabrielle's brother Max. Seriously? I just wanted to smack him in the back of the head. I don't get the overprotective brother thing. Maybe because my brother was never like that. But that's what makes the story great, the emotions brought out while reading and the attachment you get to the characters.  I have a couple of foodie friends who will absolutely love this book. This is a quick, easy and fun read. And.. of course I have to comment on the sexy cover. Whew, I want to be Gabrielle! Highly recommend this book and Im looking forward to reading more from this author.
