Again we are chasing after Beth and Jeb as they reflect to worlds unknown. In this chapter in the series, we see them separated, each going to another world. Beth teeters on the verge of death. We see danger and death around every corner. And then there's the First Species factor along with the bloodling prince, all of whom play a large part in the Reflectives' lives in a big way. And of course, we can't leave out the insane shadow of Ryan who seems to hang over every move Beth takes. How I am looking forward to seeing him destroyed. If only Beth could put aside the main Reflective imperative. We find new gifts in this chapter and we lose beloved characters. Wars are waged, battles won, mistakes made. It holds all of the exciting angst and adventure I expect from this series and more. As will all of Ms Blodgett's series' this one crosses over into realms we've visited and shows us brave and gullible characters we've come to love and whose lives intertwine with our own. I can't wait to see where she takes us next.
