The engagement may be fake.
But the emotions are real.

After learning that her ex-fiancé will be spending the holidays next door to her parents' home, the last thing florist Mariah Peters wants is for him to see that she's still single two years after they called off their wedding. And so she comes up with the perfect lie... that she's engaged.

Too bad the man she hired to pretend to be her fiancé is grounded on the other side of the country and can't make it in time.

Enter friend Logan Garrison who volunteers to be the replacement. After all, that's what friends are for, right?

But that's before a practice kiss changes everything...

About the Author

Liz grew up reading stories about damsels in distress, the princes who rescue them, and of monsters that lurk under the bed (who just might be the aforementioned damsels or princes, for that matter). Totally inspired, she wrote her first story in eighth grade, a serial drama that was sneakily distributed throughout her homeroom classroom until the teacher got hold of it and she (Liz, not the teacher) almost got suspended because her story turned out to be this totally NSFW taboo story that she can only blame on active teenage imagination!

She has since published over ten books, two audiobooks, and countless bits of poetry. Liz lives in a tiny house in Southern California about a mile from the beach and usually spends her days writing, drinking coffee and trying not to step on her son's Legos.

She also doesn’t normally talk about herself in the third person but she heard that’s how these things are supposed to be written...
