The Rescuers is a book that fosters kindness. It provides a wonderful way to talk to children about the passing of good values - by example. My kids love it and I can not wait to read it to my students.
This book is full of character. It is funny and charming and its message as universal as it is powerful. I was captivated by the mother/daughter relationship and found a little bit of myself in each character. I highly recommend this book, whether you're a parent in search of quality literature for their child or if you're just searching for a part of yourself.
