THE RICH GIRLS' CLUB

California has never had a female governor and Morgan Childs is determined to change that with the help of her friends. Gathering the backing of the wealthiest women in California, she convinces her best friend, Brooks Kennedy, to run for governor.

Morgan's campaign strategy is nontraditional, but she knows her plan to sexually blackmail each of Brooks's opponents is virtually foolproof. Once she convinces the team of her tactics, they do whatever it takes to get incriminating evidence on Brooks's opponents.

One by one each candidate is forced to withdraw from the governor's race, and Morgan couldn't be happier, until someone attempts to kill Brooks. With so many enemies, Brooks has no idea who wants her dead.

When a secret is revealed, Morgan feels betrayed and will stop at nothing to get revenge. Now, Brooks doesn't know who to trust and the women stand to lose more than they bargained for.

In HoneyB’s latest drama-soaked tale (after Married on Mondays) four friends get together to have fun, talk s*it about men, and discuss ways to make more money. Morgan Childs, Brooks Kennedy, Storm Dangerfield, and Hope Andrews are already worth millions, but Morgan hatches a scheme to gain control of the California governor’s mansion. Knowing all too well that “beauty is a woman’s trump card”, the girls plan to usher Brooks to be the first black female governor by concocting sex scandals that will eliminate the competition. Like a team of black widow spiders the four gorgeous woman target politicians with weakness for DD breasts and stiletto heels then devour them politically. Hidden cameras record the nasty romps as the Rich Girls sex up the fools. Destroying reputations can be more satisfying then sex, but will infidelity, betrayal, and jealousy be the Rich Girls’ own downfall?
VERDICT HoneyB, aka Mary B. Morrison, is the real deal. Female readers will rise up from chairs shouting “Hallelujah” when the silly men are, ahem, taken for a ride. Lots of sex, extravagant wealth, and sheisty backstabbing will have fans clamoring for more from HoneyB.

Fierce, sexually liberated and filthy rich, Storm, Brooks, Hope and Morgan form the Rich Girls Club. In short, they seek to dominate whatever they do. In this story, they are seeking political power to ultimately show what a woman can do and how well she can do it in positions of leadership. However, personal conflicts between the women, along with a couple of poorly thought-out plans threatens both their plan for political domination and their friendship with one another. Brooks is chosen to run for governor by Morgan, the mastermind behind the club. Storm and Hope are enlisted to make sure that Brooks’ competition isn’t so competitive. Unfortunately for Brooks, her own skeletons could come out of her closet and cost the Rich Girls everything. The relationship she shares with one of the other women is scandalous, but what’s even more scandalous is who her other lovers are. Egos clash, ridiculous amounts of money are put on the line and lives are threatened. To be honest, I skimmed most of the book. The erotic scenes held my interest for the most part, but the plot left much to be desired. I couldn’t say that I liked any of the characters, but I had a strong dislike for Morgan because she had the biggest, most despicable ego of them all. Seeing how she responded to much of the trouble in the book that was largely caused by her own actions was both entertaining and frustrating. The ending isn’t fairy tale, or at least not totally, and the message is one that some could consider controversial. Overall, this was an entertaining read that definitely encourages women’s liberation from any and everything. I rate it a 3 out of 5.

Sorry, Honey B this book did not do anything for me. I couldn`t make it pass chapter one. I expected more sexual intimacy . Instead what I received was overly sexualized characters that left my mind and eyes bored stiff. Don`t get me wrong I enjoy sex and erotica as much as the next person. I just prefer it be more tastefully done. If you prefer in your face, dirty, and vulgar descriptions on your bookshelf Honey B is the author for you. On a positive note I do respect the authors approach in encouraging women to imbrace their sexuality. I like Mary B. Morrison more so than Honey B, thats just me.

Reviewed by: Crystal B Book provided by: Publisher Review originally posted at Romancing the Book The Rich Girls’ Club by HoneyB has a great concept to the story line. When these women set their mind to it I don’t think there is anything they can not do! I really enjoyed watching these four women, Brooks Kennedy, Morgan Childs, Storm Dangerfield, and Hope Andrews put their plan into place for Brooks to become governor. They don’t let anything stand in their way and have no problem at all using their feminine wiles to get what they want either. They are more then willing to use their sensuality as a means to get the dirt they need. Brooks opponents don’t stand a chance against this group. These women are a powerful force to reckoned with. They have no problem seducing the other candidates to get the goods on them to make them withdraw for the election. I really enjoyed watching how their plan was working out and what they were willing to do to get their way. We get to see some inside of how some political situations very well may work. The friendship between these women is true sister type friendship. Even when something happens to threaten their friendship they are able to keep the bond together. I loved that nothing could break this group up. They were together through think and through thin no matter what happened. They are all strong women with spunk. I really liked the relationship between these women. I liked the idea of woman ready to kick butt and do what ever it took in order to get what they want. Brooks Kennedy isn’t sure she is ready to take on the role of governor but she’s willing to give it a try for the girls. She is a strong believable type that seems like she would be a good fit for governor. She does have a few skeletons in her closet that she would rather not come out. Morgan Childs the ring leader of the group has a secret that she isn’t ready to share with any of the other girls. This secret could put some doubt into their group. This book is definitely an over 18 only book due to the context and language. I would recommend this book to anyone that is looking for a good erotica story with a strong story line.
