So I purchased this because I'm a huge MC fan and this seemed like a great book. It had mixed reviews but I noticed that most of the negative reviews had nothing to do with the actual story line, it was readers complaining about the editing or rather lack of. So with that being said, I will say this story line was eh, okay. Not the best but not the worst. There was so much repetition, it was driving me insane. Lil was gone but then returned, she was back for months but kept going on about how happy she was to be back, how she missed this and that, she wouldn't shut up about it, trust me we got it the first ten times you said it. Her relationship with Tank was repetitive as well, it was on a loop, their lives revolved around each other. He would leave, she would stay, he would return, she would cuddle next to him and say she missed him, next day the same thing, the sex was hot but that's about it. Lil was tough and not a pushover, I loved that about her. She knew how to defend herself and her friends. She wasn't dependent on anyone. Her friends were annoying as hell, especially Peaches, what was up with her being naked all the time? What a weirdo.. There was a good amount of intrigue and action that kept the reader interested, too bad it mostly takes place towards the end of the book. Unfortunately, I think I was punked into buying an old version of this book as this copy was in badly need of editing. I was under the impression this book was rewritten and edited and a brand new BETTER version was out but that's not true or at least Barnes n Noble doesn't have the new version. It was hard pushing through a book when there were so many grammatical errors like these: fallow - follow gunna - gonna patient - patience aye - hey women - woman hoping - hopping chock - choke These were just the most repetitive errors, I'm not even including the misspelled words, the lack of punctuation marks, etc. Mistakes like these really do bring down the ratings of books, doesn't matter how good the story line is. In this case I would have given this book three stars because i wasn't too thrilled with Lil and Tank's story, but all of the grammatical errors brings down my rating to a two and the lack of editing brings it down to a one...hope book two is better! While I really do like this book, because I am a Sons of Anarchy fan, I am extraordinarily disappointed with the spelling errors and the grammar errors, as well as the fact that it is like reading the book version of Sons of Anarchy. The editting staff for this author should all be terminated, as the word is FOLLOW not fallow, and that is only one of the mis-spelled words. I am surprised that the writers and creators of Sons of Anarchy are not suing this author and the publishing staff for the knock off (Tank is JAX). I hope ths author does something original versus watch a highly acclaimed tv series and then writes about it. I will not bother with any of the rest of this series as I have already watched all the seasons of Sons and therefore why bother.

I'm not sure how this book received even one good review. The typos were painful to read through, absolutely no flow to the story at all. First book I've purchased on my Nook that I haven't bothered to finish and I have 1500+ on here. Don't waste your money.

I had a hard time getting past the very poor editing. Basic things like spelling and paragraphs need vast improvement. Editor needs to be fired. I regret this purchase because of these issues. Couldn't even get into the story.

If you can somehow get through the poor editing you then have to try and actually follow the story line and characters which is another challenge in itself. I love a great mc series with the right blend of character development, action, and love story. This had potential for all three as i think i might have liked the characters if i could have followed the story better. In one paragraph you might have multiple people talking and you have to sometimes read through again to know whos talking. At one point you are told who everyone is, if they have an old lady, if they are single, ect, that one paragraph is still as clear as mud for me. I wish i would have trusted prior reviews and not purchased this as i thought i could look over poor editing, unfortunately i bought the second book and i might delete it before i read it.

Love all of this author's books-they're always creative and easy to read. Many of the stories are addictive and I've read all of them.

I wonder if the author pull this story from real life...if so, I want to meet Tank. This was a steamy book with enough chaos and turmoil to keep me reading.

Good story and I really liked the characters. I hope the author continues her books with the other members of the club, especially Low. But first she needs to terminate the entire editing staff. The misspelled words and grammatical errors were beyond belief!!!!!!! HIRE new people!!!

Probably would have been good, except all the chapters were basically one long paragraph that included dialog. Also thr word you.were trying.for on every page.was follow, not fallow.

This is a great book that had my interest from the get go! Tank is my new "Book" Boyfriend. He is one of my all time favorite alpha male characters.

Like this author. There were a lot of mistakes, not sure if they were the aithors or not, the editor should be more careful. The story I really liked and would recommend.

After reading some of the reviews I almost didn't buy this book but I am so glad I decided to try it out any way. It was a good story and kept interested the whole way. The story flowed smoothly. There wasn't any slow or boring parts. Yes as a lot of books I have read lately it could of used better proof reading but it didn't take away from the story. I would really like to see Gin story and see these two in the next story as well because there should be more to thier story as well. I love series where everyones story keeps going into the next books so you don't leave people behind even when they aren't the main story any more. Those are the ones that make the best series.

The storyline is written well with just a few areas that rambled on with repetition past my tolerance forcing me to skim past them. The grammer mistakes I found are easily read past, but a third party read through and edit would not have hurt. The plot and characters kept my interest to the end. I would definitely read other books by this author and look forward to them. In my opinion Jaci J's writing skills are only going to improve and I can't wait to watch and read her books over time.

When I purchased this book it had a 5 star rating. I seriously question how that is possible. I am hoping the author reads these reviews, like many of the independent new authors do. She definitely has some talent. However there were many problems with this book. First, on the positive side the story is compelling. The characters are likeable and the author does a good job of character building with SOME of the characters. Not so much with others. Case in point is Low. He's the President of the Club and the main character's father, integral to the story, yet he is relegated to almost nothing. The problems....and there were many. First, the spelling and grammatical errors in this book are so rampant that it distracts tremendously from the story. The word follow is spelled F-O-L-L-O-W, not fallow! That word is used so much in the book, that it became annoying. There are so many other misspelled words, wrongly used words and grammatical issues that I just became sad at the lack of education this author has received. Other problems included rushed story fragments, repetition, and a very rushed ending. This story had a lot of potential. I gave it 2 stars because it was a good idea. It was just poorly executed. A really good editor would help tremendously.
