This book was an oasis in the desert for me. I gained a lot of insight into myself and my life. I gave 4 copies to our local correctional institute's library so that perpetrators of sexual abuse can read it to see the lasting damage they do to children and to help heal those who have been abused.

For 49 years I suffered in silence from the trauma of sexual abuse in my childhood by a family member. After reading 'Right to Innocence', I am finally beginning to heal. This is a book I buy in quantity to pass out to my fellow survivors, and would recommend to anyone whose life has been damaged by sexual abuse in childhood.

I have read numerous books on this subject since I am married to a survivor. He thought this book was extremely helpful to him and I gained a lot of insight reading the book after he did and taking note of his markings in the book. I higly recommend this book to survivors as well as partners

I bought 50 copies of this book for my family to educate them on the subject of childhood sexual abuse. As an Aunt trying to protect my nieces, I read every book on the market on this subject. This one was the best! It not only answers all the 'myths' that people hold on the subject, but teaches victims very powerful lessons to becoming survivors. It's also a must read for anyone who wants to finally get their head out of the sand and learn about how to protect all the children. Every child is worth protecting.

This is a one of the best books I have read on the subject of child sexual abuse. It is written in lay terms and very easy to follow.
