Michael has always felt out of place on the family farm.

He can't lay eggs like all the other chickens. He can't graze and give milk like the cows. He can't roll around in the mud and eat slop like the pigs. And his "cock-a-doodle-doo" is nothing to be proud of.

Searching for his place on the farm leads Michael to the conclusion that maybe the farm is better off without him...that is until a threatening turn of events brings him to the realization of his true purpose and place on the farm.
