The Run by Jaci J., Rebel Edit And Design

'A passionate free spirited girl with a constant need to run,' or 'Unsettled,' is how my mother would describe me. I call it an eternal eagerness to roam. My feet always seem to carry me along the path less traveled, sometimes leading me into trouble, and every once in a while, they lead me to something fu****g great. That something great might just be a bike riding, cut wearing hard-ass. Buck might just be worth slowing down and hanging around for.

Uninteresting?that's what I'd say about anything outside my club. An old lady, uninterested. Bitches beyond the bedroom, uninterested. A roommate, definitely not fu*****g interested. I ran, like a bat outta hell, from one bad situation two years ago and I'm not looking to repeat the same goddamn mistake twice, but Lennon doesn't make it easy on a man. Crazy beautiful, a wild heart, and an infectious spirit, Lennon might just be enough to pique my interest.

This was a confusing and hard to get into book. Never really got what Lennon did to get jail time. Slow to start and then the ending was so rushed. Wanted Jess to get her butt kicked too!! Usually a big fan of Jaci J but this one didn't work for me at all. Will finish the series only because I bought it all but not a fan of where this series went after the first two books.

I would love nothing better than to give this 5 stars, but the first 80ish pages of this book seem slow, repetitive, with odd, hard to figure out characters and just lacking that special something that makes a good book into a fantastic, cant put down, kind of book. Its a slow start and a fairly short book for a full length novel, but it does pick up in the middle and by the end i did love it. Im just disappointed it took me so long to love these characters and their story.

Buck and Lennon area no nonsense couple. Lennon is a free spirit and Buck is a fierce mf. Great book. I gave it 4 stars because I feel in some parts of the book it was unfinished buiness. I wish that we could've seen Lil give Buck hell and a final confrontation with Jess.
