I am not very good at writi g reviews so I will keep this short and sweet. I loved this book. I could not put it down. Kirsty has a way of drawing you in and keeps you wanting more.
Well, this was certainly an action packed and steamy book! Joely has escaped her life as a Viper girl thanks to Jace, but the problem is that Clara Delvine doesn’t like to lose. Clara is out for revenge. In this installment, we see Joely and Jace living happily and free, even if they are on the run. Clara finally catches up with them and Joely must return to the Viper room. Can Joely and Jace are going to have to put up the fight of their lives to be together and break free. Will they? So, this book pretty much leaves off where “Saturdays at the Viper Room” left off. And holy shizzle…it’s an action packed and sexy adventure. I mean, even when they are living life “free” they are constantly looking over their shoulders and it keeps you on the edge. The tone this book sets from the outset is awesome. What I found to be one of the best things about this book was its pacing. It’s just enough to keep you on the edge of your seat but also keep things chugging along. When Clara strikes it’s like “BAM”. You see the changes made to the Viper room in the time that Joely been gone and you just can’t put the book down. I really felt for Joely and Jace, and I really hated Clara…which I’m guessing was the point. This book really does a good job of communicating emotional upheaval and strain, and I lapped up every single drop of it. Overall, I think I enjoyed this book even more than the first. It has everything you want in a second book…pain, love, joy, struggle. I really felt it all. I’m really looking forward to what I hope will be the final installment of this series. I can only imagine what must befall Clara…or at least I hope! 4 stars. *Copy provided for review* Reviewed by Sara Squared for Crystal's Many Reviewers
