Ahhhh, that was my sweet, soft, out loud sigh. To be young and in love again... the story continues, you do need to read the first book before starting with this one. I am caught in the Raven's Trap...still. This book brought a few surprises, I thought it was going to go in a different direction, I was pleased to see the main character develop. I am anxious to see where the story takes us. I am really anxious to see what is going on with Luke...there is more there. This is a young adult, new adult story.

This is a continuing story of Lexi and Raven from the first book int he University Park series.  In this story, Lexi works to find out if she can be the all American teenager.  Her parents always want her to do what they have chosen, not what she wants.  Now she is no longer engaged to Collin, she is trying to find out if her feelings for Raven are real.   Raven has a past that most would be ashamed of.  He is afraid to take a chance with Lexi, but it is all he really wants.  She decides she can no longer tutor the football star without her heart getting damaged.   Lexi tries to change her image and her outlook.  Now that she is free of her parents influence, she tries to be more like the typical college kid.  This means she runs into Raven at parties everywhere.  The women chasing after him as usual, she is torn as to what to do.   Raven wants better for Lexi.  He thinks she should go back to Collin, not getting that this would never happen.  She is done with that life and living without love.  She wants a future with Raven, if she can change his mind.   Such an amazing story with the characters trying to go after what they want.  Finally showing they are adults, and making decisions for themselves.  The development in this book is clear and great to see!  I give this 2nd installment in the University Park series a round of applause.     ***This ARC copy was given free from the author and publisher for review purposes only. romance series Contemporary

I enjoyed book two at least as much as I did the first one. The characters returned with a few more being introduced, as well. There were not too many mistake or grammatical errors. The story is definitely geared towards young adults but is entertaining enough for us older readers, too. The characters, especially Lexi, all seem immature for 20-21 year old college kids in their junior and senior years. It would almost seem more appropriate to have them be in high school. The university in question is obviously TCU but I am not sure why it is never stated even though there are many hints that definitely prove it for those of us who live here and are Frog fans. Overall I like the story and I am looking forwatd to book three. I am also hopeful that she tries her hand at telling a story designed for a more mature audience in the near future.

Excellent!!!! Another must read from CM Doporto..Book 2 The Same Side is an amazing read .I fell deeper into the Ravens Trap.I started reading and couldn't put it down. Lexi finds out about some of the struggles Raven has faced in his life and she knows he is great and will do great things.Raven convinces her to stay with him. Their relationship is full of love and romance,But when her parents find out things don't go according to her plan. Will their love be enough to withstand her parents or will it destroy it. I reccomend this book for everyone. You will not be dissappointed.CM Doporto Did an amazing job and can't wait for more of Raven and Lexi...
