John's sailboat is no match for the elements of a devastating ocean storm. As his boat crashes on the rocks, he struggles to get to the island nearby. The hard-nosed woman he discovers there leaves him essentially alone on the island. His first mud hut gets washed away by a typhoon, and finally he finds a cave to live in. But his troubles are only beginning. A computer technician who is confined to a wheelchair, is finally instrumental in his rescue, and not a moment too soon.

About the Author

Born in the state of Oregon, and grew up in friendly atmosphere. As he became of age, joined the military and spent eleven years in the service of his country, departing the military as a Viet-Nam veteran. He continued his career in electronics and became a Senior Operations Controller in the Satellite industry. While on assignment in Greenland, with nothing to do in his off time, he took to writing. He is the first to tell you that his first full length novel was a bust, and it seemed that no amount of editing could revive it. It was never published, but the desire to write remained. He has self published eight books, which he either wrote or had the rights to publish, and now is turning to e-book publications. He continues to write, mostly science fiction, but this story is an exception.
