About the Author

The name "Agatha Christie" is nearly synonymous with upper-class British mysteries, for good reason. Christie (1890-1976) set the standard for the genre in more than 60 novels and dozens of short stories, creating two iconic detectives along the way: the fastidious Belgian Hercule Poirot, and the English spinster Jane Marple in the Miss Marple series. No one could match her knack for weaving clues into her stories. Widely considered her masterpiece, And Then There Were None has been adapted into a number of films.

This is one of the best mysteries written by Agatha Christie. Tommy and Tuppence are have both come through WI and now wonder what they should do with themselves. Enter the adventure of their young lives and the beginnings of a career in detection. Agatha Christie's characters are well developed and sharply etched. Her crimes are elegant in their delivery and display no unnecessary blood and gore. This is how mystery novels should be written ... elegantly wicked. This is a book for Teens, Young Adults, and Adults. Miss Christie's books are timeless and can be read multiple times. One will always find something new each time.

Loved the way we were led astray between the characters through the twists and turns of international criminals. It ended as it had to with everyone getting what they deserved.

I was able to read 3 pages, although Nook acted like I was getting the whole book. I feel rather cheated, if you want to know the truth.
