The Seventh is a story of love. It is no more and no less twisted than any story of genuine love can be, and is therefore filled to the brim with lust, betrayal, hope and perhaps even a touch of remorse.

This book is a spiritual exploration of sin and desire. Even though I come from a very different perspective than the narrator, I really felt like he was talking right to me. He has a voice like Hunter Thompson and a sense of humor like Vonnegut. Oh, yeah. And a dirty mouth like Bukowski. Plus, I read it on a plane in like just over 4 hours. And then I read it again over a few days in my hotel room. It was different the second time. Not better or worse. just different. I recommend it.
