The Sexy & The Undead by Charity Parkerson is hilarious, yet super serious. Don't let the size fool you, this story line is full and satisfying. I am not sure where the ideas come from, but Parkerson never ceases to surprise me. Humor, angst, passion and prose, together again.

This was a quick, fun, and easy read. Ella is a witch, who happens to have a pet zombie named Freddie. She has been trying to cure him, but has not had any luck yet. When she cooks up a potion, hoping for a guy for Valentines day, she gets more than she bargained for. Samuel, a dark angel enters her life with his pixie, Tam. Between a new job, weird boss, Freddie, Samuel and Tam, Ella is on the ride of her life. Samuel is a little jealous of Freddie and Freddie and Tam, really hit if off. To find out how it all ends, be sure and read this book.

Wow. Just...wow. I adore urban fantasy and paranormal romance and this was one of the best I've ever read. Charity Parkerson has created characters that you immediately love. A strong, but lonely Ella - a sexy, dark angel named Samuel - a cute, sassy pixie named Tam - and a playful zombie named Freddie. It's the perfect combination that leads to fun, great sex, and a wonderful storyline. I picked this book up this afternoon and couldn't put it down. If you love urban fantasy, READ THIS BOOK!

Reviewed by Tania Staley for Readers' Favorite The Sexy and the Undead is a deliciously sexy new romance novel by Charity Parkerson. Ella is your normal, single young woman trying to make it on her own and longing for companionship during that harsh holiday known as Valentine’s Day. That is, if your definition of normal is a modern-day witch who has charged herself with watching over Freddie, a former stud turned zombie because of his wandering eye and a very jealous and powerful girlfriend. When Ella’s loneliness and desire for companionship of the non-walking-dead variety gets the better of her, she concocts a spell to summon her dream man. In a noxious explosion, her potion backfires, but brings her someone she would never have dreamed of — the kilted and shirtless angel, Samuel, and his sarcastic and flirty companion, the pixie, Tam. Now, not only has her life gotten even more complicated, as she realizes there are realms beyond even her comprehension, but it has gotten a whole lot hotter as she discovers that sometimes dreams — even one you didn’t know you had —  do come true. Charity Parkerson’s novel is a quick, steamy read that I was hesitant to put down. Ella is a fun heroine to follow, and her awkwardness in relationships is something that I think many can relate to. Samuel’s hunky physique and passionate attitude is sure to get readers’ hearts racing. Parkerson’s tongue-in-cheek wit about romance and sex will have you laughing and blushing at the same time. The Sexy and the Undead is quite enjoyable, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and sexy romance novel. I can’t wait to read more from Charity Parkerson and find out what is in store for these characters.

What a party! Some books are a party, and The Sexy & The Undead (Sexy Witches) by Charity Parkerson is certainly one the wildest. And when I say party, it means; cool and unusual characters, lots of humor, some rumor and romance, a bit of hot sex, (maybe more than a bit). And did I mention the unusual characters are very unusual, as in angels, fairies, pixies, witches, and zombies. As with any good party, the rest of the gossip can only be had if you actually go to the party. And I recommend that you do!

The Sexy & The Undead (Sexy Witches) I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review The author has created a unique writing style in this clever story. What a wonderful fantasy land the writer has pulled us into with potions, zombies, angels, and pixies... what more could you ask for in a tale? It is mystical, funny, giggly and even romantic in places. Full of adventure and fantasy in a world you just want to be inside. Slightly dark, sexy and erotic but with sarcasm, lust and crazy thrown in! I really wanted it to be longer- can't wait for future writings from Parkerson. A good 5*****

The Sexy and the Undead is a hilariously story that was a very fun read! Ella is a witch that is lonely, so she decides to cook a spell up into her cauldron to help her get the man of her dreams. When she ends up summoning one sexy Angel she is speechless! So on top of trying to find a spell to help out Freddie the Zombie, she is now salivating over a Samuel, dark Angel that is just as enchanted with her! Ella and Samuel are one of those couples that you just can’t help but like. Although Ella is a witch, she does not have a lot of self confidence, when Samuel likes her just as she is, Ella cannot believe it. Unlike most erotic stories, Ella does not jump Samuel’s bones the first chance she gets, she makes him work for it. But when they do come together, whew is it HOT! This book is funny, sexy, and packed full of rip roaring action! The characters are great and the plot is not hard to understand. I love Freddie the Zombie, he can eat my brains any day! This is a great beginning to the Sexy Witches series and I cannot wait to read more! I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.
