Yaz got on my nerves with her selfish ways. Life and love prevailed. Definitely worth reading....again!

BRAVO!!! Masterpiece!!! I loved this book!!! Any time an author can make me feel an array of emotions while reading their book, I know that I have a masterpiece in my hand; I am trying to find the words to describe how amazing this book was so bear with me. First the things that I like 1- I love the fact that the characters were real; the heroine was a dark skinned woman and the hero was not physically described as the perfect man either like most of these books do; he progressively looked better as the story went on. 2- I like interrecial books to acknowlege the challenges that come with interrecial dating because I feel like it's important to mention them and it is not realistic at all to brush over those issues; however, that aspect never took over the main storyline 3- The length...I love to read a long book becuase I like the characters and situations to be fully detailed. 4- I really disliked the heroine ( throughout a good majority of the story) ; I couldnt stand her at some point but you know what ? in some ways I understood her; they are people like her . I dont think it is fair to the book or the storyline as a whole which was so compelling to penalize a book rating just because you did not like the main character so I totally disagree with one reviewer giving this book a 2 star solely because they could not stand the heroine ; that is extremely harsh in my opinion and it does not reflect the book as a whole but I understand that we all have different tastes and opinions 5- Nisay ( the hero) .. WHAT A MAN...What a man and that's all I'm going to say 6- This book was REAL; I know they are people who live situations like these daily so this is another main reason why I liked this book so much; I have had enough of Billionnaires stories in this BW/WM genre...Cons : few editing issues but not too glaring as to disturb the flow of the story. I highly recommend this book. I read a lot of books and especially in this genre and it is so hard, so hard to find a good book of substance ; it is really rare to come across books like these so give this book a chance and you wont regret it. I hope this author continues to write because she is really talented.
