The Shaman And The Rose based on 0 ratings. 2 reviews.
The Shaman and the Rose is an epic fantasy based on a little known biblical prophesy concerning Satan. According to some biblical texts the great destroyer will be set free upon the earth prior to the ending of all things. Shaman is the visionary tale of what might happen if that event occured before its proper time. Featuring magnificent landscapes and unceasing action this novel brings together angels and wizards in grandiose combat against the forces of evil led by the great destroyer- Satan. This is a story of friendships and sacrifice; of love and betrayal during the very last war to restore order to a universe gone mad. Shaman is a fantasy unlike any other you may have read before. These are characters that will remain in your heart long after you turn the final page. Some fantasies are not meant to be forgotten.
As a reader I was enthralled by the glorious worlds created within worlds by fantasy author Roger Zelazny. As a writer I have been influenced by such diverse authors as Jack Kerouac, Mickey Spillane, Steven King and many others. With my latest novel, The Shaman and the Rose I have endeavored to weave magical realms with reality by centering parts of the fable within our own sphere of existence. The result is an epic fantasy adventure where angels take up arms beside men and wizards join with the last elfin born to the race of elves. Together they will face the four horsemen of the apocalypse and Satan who has been set free after two thousand years of imprisonment in Dudael. With the great destroyer wavering between sides and influencing all to gain his own agenda, the outcome of Shaman is never quite certain. This is a fable of love and betrayal, where good and evil are twin sides of the same coin. Some fantasies are not meant to be forgotten but live forever in the hearts of men. I hope that you will open its pages and embark on the adventure of a lifetime.
