This album features material from two different ELP performances: California Jam '74 and Rome '98. The first three tracks are from the Cal Jam and all the others from Rome. Cal Jam material sounds a little raw, because of all the technical problems (bad sound quality, long distance between the band and the public, etc.) Rome material sounds better, in which the band performs early favorites (Knife Edge, Lucky Man, etc.) and some rare tracks (Touch and Go, 21st Century Schizoid Man, America, etc.) This album should be replaced with the double set "Then & Now", since it features the same material, plus all the Cal Jam tracks.
