Overview

A follow-up to THE HAPPY BOOK, THE SLEEPY BOOK has an inviting die-cut cover, delightful touch-and-feel elements, and cozy rhyming text to help get a young child in the mood for bedtime.

Look out the window at the end of the day.
The sun is slowly fading away.

It's time to get ready for bed.... THE SLEEPY BOOK follows the various rituals a child experiences at bedtime -- putting away toys, taking a bath, being read a story or sung a lullaby, then snuggling under the covers with teddy and slowly falling asleep. Enhancing Diane Muldrow's warm and cozy text and Patti Ann Harris's bold, kid-friendly illustrations, are seven fun interactive elements: puffy golden satin of the sun going down, corrugated material of a toy block, yellow foam of a rubber ducky, terrycloth bath

This was given to my daughter as a gift by her grandma. She has loved it since 6 months. It is so great with the touch and feel parts of the book plus you can memorize the book. Very soothing!!! It is going to be a great book for gift giving!!

This is the best bedtime book. It's rhythm has a cadance that is very hyptnotic and soothing. I especially liked it because I had it memorized rather quickly and could close my eyes and relax while still reading the book to my son. I would recommend this book to any new mom!
