About the Author

Born and raised in Chicago's Back of the Yards neighborhood, Diana is a Afro-Latina playwright, poet and storyteller. A former high school English teacher and IT sales executive, Diana has performed as an actress and has written, published and/or produced plays, independent films, short stories, poems and now children's books. The Snugawinks of Cuddelton Falls was inspired by her own four children who are now grown. Diana lives is currently working on her Snugawinks series. her memoir and a new play.
