Cary's hometown pastor told her that the Lord's Resistance Army had broken into Soroti, Uganda. She has been to Uganda on mission trips before, but had never been in that part of northern Uganda. She heard it was hot, dusty, and that Soroti had very few trees compared to the large city-life of Kampala where she had lived previously. She hadn't ever wanted to be there. After thinking and praying about her conversation with her pastor, suddenly the Lord told her through a dream that she must go. He would use her to help and protect these people. As fearful as she was, she knew she should go, and that the Lord would use her, one way or another. God blessed her and used her to be a blessing. Hallelujah!
