After the first couple of chapters, I wasn't sure whether I was reading a novel of suspense or the morning news. The author draws the reader in with the first sentence. The hero, a federal agent taking a break to think things through, is drawn in to a missing persons case by a request from his sister. From that point on, it's a fast-paced ride that includes murder, mayhem, intrigue, crooked politicians, love, sex and a plot that is a real page turner. In a world where electronic messaging is both a blessing and a curse, the hero finds that elements of our government are using the highest level technology to make a profit, never mind the effect on our country. The rest of the book is a heart-pounding trip across international borders and across the country to unravel the plot and protect our nation. It's a great read with fascinating characters! Don't miss it. I'm just hoping there will be lots more books by this writer.
