The Spellswords saga continues as Brenna the stepdaughter of the wizard Sothal is joined in the future by her twin brother, one wizard himself who is recorded in history as Merlin the Magician. Here in this reunion the stories of Arthur are slightly disturbed in their more comical insight. With Brenna as the Lady of the Lake and the positive sword that she possesses now presented to her brother for young Arthur's use, history is undone. In the meantime Brenna, vastly out of her own time, tries to cope with her own problems in the modern present day. Her once lavish home has been destroyed and now sits as the former glory of its once grand self. Only the internal stones lay about the grounds. Stonehenge will be Brenna's home no more.
