This is a fictional fantasy book. It is about a boy named Max who loves bugs. While on a camping trip with his parents, Max gets suddenly whisked away into the bug world as he is looking at a spider. Inside this bug world, Max becomes caught up in a battle with the reptiles against the bugs. There is alot of action and suspense as Max helps the bugs in this fight. This book was very exciting and interesting. Because I kept wondering who would win the battle and what would happen next, I finished the book in one sitting! Even though I never read the first book in this series, I was able to still follow the story. I thought it was really cool that Max was only gone for several hours in the human world, but was actually in the bug world for several days. I think kids would really enjoy this action-packed book. I would like to read the other books in this series! Reviewed by Isaac V., age 8, Hawaii Mensa
