About the Author

By profession, I’m a technical writer, computer geek, and ex-interior designer. I’m good at two out of three of these things. I had the sense to quit the one I sucked at. That’s how I currently support myself. To deal with my mid-life crisis, I’m also writing adventure novels featuring a middle-aged female protagonist. And I’m learning to kickbox. This seemed more productive than indulging in more typical mid-life crisis activities like getting a divorce, buying a Harley Crossbones, and cruising across the country picking up men in sleazy bars. Especially since it’s winter most of the months of the year here. It’s much more comfortable to sit at my computer. And hell, Harleys are expensive. Come to think of it, so are beer and gasoline. Oh, and I still love my husband. There’s that. I’ll stick with the writing.

Addicted to this series. I just love what each character brings to the story. Love that Arnie! This book was great. Love all the twists and turns and how much the characters, especially Ayden, has grown. Love Stemp in this one too.

I really love this series. Henders is one of my all time favorite authors. I have to admit though that it is getting a little harder to read. Aydan Kelly reminds me a little of Charlie Brown. The football is always pulled away, or the tree eats the kite. Even when something good happens it is immediately pointed out that it could all turn bad again. Gets a bit stressful. Of course I still wish to be more like Aydan....strong, in great shape, many friends who care about her, many hobbies and desired by fabulous men. Ah well maybe next year...Read on!

It started slow but it was worth the wait! Diane did it again. I can't wait for the next book.

Can't wait for the next one! John is happy, Arnie and Ayden are happy. How long will it last?

I have read all 10 books in this series. At times I thought they were way out there but just couldn't put it down. Lots of action and suspense. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a different twist from the usual spy story. Waiting for the next one.

I love reading Diane Henders' books. Not only are they good stories--well written, good plots, and great character development --she insists on no typos! It's such a joy to know what you are reading w/o trying to figure your way through the many typos in both in other books meant for pleasure reading. It's clear she take pride in her work.

Great book, loved it. Some of the previous characters come back. Put Lola and Stemp's parents together and they are a hoot. We learn more about Kane, Donot believe Ayden, she does not want a quiet life, she will stay an agent.

Just love this series. Another winning story about Adyn and company. Editing, spelling, grammer all spot on, as usual. Read this series from the beginning, you will not be disappointed.
