About the Author

Lexxie’s not a deviant. She just has a deviant’s imagination and a desire to entertain readers with her words. Add the two together and you get darkly erotic romances with a twist of horror, sci-fi and the paranormal.

When she’s not submerged in the worlds she creates, Lexxie’s life revolves around her family, a husband who thinks she’s insane, a pony-sized mutt who thinks he’s a lapdog, two yabbies hell-bent on destroying their tank and her daughters, who both utterly captured her heart and changed her life forever. The Sun Sword is her thirteenth published title.

What People are Saying About This

From the Publisher

  •  “No one writes hot and steamy quite like Lexxie Couper…If you want a romance that keeps you one the edge, makes you cry and sigh, and takes you to new worlds, I highly recommend The Sun Sword.” – BEST BOOK Award, Whipped Cream Reviews
  •   I found the premise surrounding the prophesy very intriguing. The plot's twists and turns really held my attention, and the main characters…tugged at my heart. Torrin is stalwart, proud and honorable. Kala is vulnerable, but stubborn and obviously used to doing things her way. And as for Ms. Couper's truly nasty villain, I wanted to kill the remorseless blackguard myself!” – Four Angels, Fallen Angels Reviews

There is little more to this book than sex. I like science fiction as well as any, but the story line is very lacking. The entire book is wrapped around the frequent rape of the young lady. Skipping over those descriptions leaves very little to actually read.

The Sun Sword is a fast-paced, sensual SF romance. Kala and Torin are well-conceived, sympathetic characters. Fair warning, though: there is a *lot* of sexual violence in this story. Kala endured a horrific childhood in which she was repeatedly raped. The evil Zrogya rapes and murders a number of women in his quest to find Kala. The Sun Sword should appeal to Star Wars and even LotR fans, but it is *not* for the faint of heart. -- lyradora
