Easy to read, the characters are great. I'm sad to see it end but am also satisfied with the ending. Can't wait to read more from this author.

What an excellent finish to the BEST series EVER!! I must say first off, I am in mourning as I loved this series. Erica has the ability to let you into her world for a while. To fall in love with her characters. And what is great is they become real to us, the readers. A gamut of emotions run through this story. Happiness, sadness, joy, a lot of humor, and fear. Fear for the characters and what they have to go through. My favorite character in the series is Al, an older man who is wise, caring and still full of life. Please, do yourself a favor, buy the whole series and begin. Thank you, now go, read!

I thoroughly enjoyed the whole series. I read all three books and wanted more. The action never stops. I have a few books that I hold onto for a reread. These will join that group.

A must read. This story is truly a beautiful piece of art. I read several books a week sometimes but I found myself actually slowly savoring each book. This story has it all! Creatively mastered tale not quite like anything you've read before Fantastic character development from page one. Not a boring paragraph in the whole series! Thank you, Erica, for an unforgettable literary adventure!

I was pulled in immediately by page one book one, now I just finished the last book. Amazing writer, she makes you feel each character. Off to find more of her stories!

I liked this series but with this last book the author lost momentum. It also seems that the author was trying to (unsuccessfully) insert a definitive cause for the whole adventure but with too much force and confusion. Revelation and the 4 horsemen were inserted but without explanation or further detail and the survivors forcefully didn’t believe in God as a reality. They only believed in themselves. There was also an unsettling bias that those who aren’t strong or who don’t handle trauma well will commit suicide; as if there’s no hope for them and they are weak. I think this series started off good and strong, took a weird turn with zombies, tried to then explain the zombies and bring it back into reality and then swung off track from there. Could have been a better story at the end with some creativity and energy, but instead just leaves the reader with meh.
