The Sweet Side of Suffering: Recognizing God's Best When Facing Life's Worst based on 0 ratings. 1 reviews.
This book could not have come at a more appropriate time in my life. I knew Esther in Syracuse, NY when my husband and I went to her church. Reading this book is like having a much needed conversation with a good friend, who gives you comfort but won't hestitate to tell you "like it is". As I read this book, I could hear her sweet gentle voice talking. Having known her, I know she speaks from experience. She is in real life as she sound in the book - the "real deal". Having gone through many of the same things she shares, I can say that she speaks the truth about the love and faithfulness of our great God and Savior. As I am going through some very difficult times myself, her advice and the insights of what God has taught her has ministered to me in ways that I didn't expect. I would recommend this book to anyone who is facing hardship and wondering where God is in it all. Be prepared to smile, cry and rejoice as you read- even in the midst of your pain.
