Callie Taylor's life is turned upside down when she learns the truth about her birth following the death of her mother. Not only is her father alive, but he's none other than presidential candidate Senator Warren Sherbrooke.

Billionaire and confirmed bachelor, Dylan Talbot, is devoted to his family. When his stepfather Warren Sherbrooke receives a letter from a past love telling him they have a daughter together, Dylan is instantly suspicious. In order to keep the media vultures away and protect Warren's political aspirations, Dylan convinces Warren to let him handle the situation.

As Callie and Dylan spend time together, they can't resist the feelings that blossom between them. However, when Callie learns the real reason he has been spending time with her their fledgling romance is put in jeopardy and only complete honesty can save it.

About the Author

I wrote my first story with characters similar to those in the Sweet Valley Twins books at the age of 10 on my grandmother's manual typewriter. As I got older my stories and characters became more mature. During my freshman year at UMass Dartmouth, I read my first romance novel and fell in love with the genre. I have been writing contemporary romance ever since. Today I live with my husband, three beautiful daughters and two dogs in Massachusetts. Whenever I have a free moment you'll find me either reading a romance novel or working on my most current story

I <3 this book. The storyline was great and flowed from page to page. There were some words spelled incorrectly, but the rest of the book made up for it. Gotta get it!

I found Christina through one of my new favorite authors, Kathleen Brooks. I really enjoyed this book & will be getting the follow-up soon. It's one of those books where you can't wait to get to the end to see if the characters end up together or not. I like light romance without t.m.i. and this fit the bill. Definitely recommend it!

Of the "romance" novels that I have read, this one was near the top of my list. Just a captivating read.

Good story. Sex is mentioned, but no explicit sex scenes. Looking forward to book 2 in the series, Jake's story.

Christina Tetreault wrote a story of consequences. Decades ago a young girl and a ricj scion fell in love. She knew that she could not fit in his world and she wanted him to have a chance to chase his dreams. She broke up their secret relationship and cried for over a year. When she was ready to tell him her secret, she sees him with another woman and he looks happy. She harbors her secret until her guilt led her to write him a letter revealing her secret. Dylan had grown to love his step-father. As an adult he took over the family business to enable his step-dad the chance to enter in politics. It workedout well because after being elected Senator, he was now running for president. Callie grew up believing her father had been killed before she was born. She grew up with an uncle who made sure she did everything and did not miss out because she was raised with a single mother. Like so many novels todau, Callie had sex with Dylan before they established trust, faith, and commitment. As a result sheg is insecure about his feelings. Without trust, when calamity hit their relationship faltered. Callie's heartt broke because they rushed into sex before establishing a modicum of trust. Of course that is why there is a story. I recommend the book for mature adult readers.

This was a well-written, fast-paced contemporary romance. The way the teacher-heroine ended up suddenly thrust into a family of billionaires, a presidential election, and in the eye of a wealthy male love interest was believable despite the tight page-count of less than 200 pages (ebook version). The sex was only touched upon lightly and not too graphic. The peripheral characters were sympathetic and I am curious to find out what happens to the younger brother, the sister, and of course the best friend. Exactly what I was hankering for when I picked up this contemporary romance. Cleanly edited ... there were no formatting or grammatical errors that I noticed. I would definitely consider future titles by this author.

I made it to page 89 and gave up. Its way to boring, the characters dont have very much chemistry and their very cliche also it annoys me when heros find heroins endearing when the rest of us are just looking like "is she serious?!" I may pick it back up but not any time soon.
