4 1/2 STARS! A surprise son, a tempting nanny and a yearning for both of them puts Aiden Langford in the middle of a life-changing time right off the bat! We saw him in the previous books in the series, and we weren't sure what to make of him. Little did we expect him to be an awesomely sweet Daddy from the get-go! Loved the connection he made with his son and watching him woo the Sarah! Aiden Langford might yearn for a connection with his family, but he never expected to be handed an instant son! He has no clue what to do with him, so he needs help right away! Sarah Daltrey doesn't want to spend one more minute falling for this adorable baby boy than she has to. She's already feeling her heart breaking at the thought of walking away from him, but she can't argue that Aiden needs to learn to take care of him before she can head back home. She agrees to 10 days of daddy lessons ... and then she's moving on to the future she has waiting for her. Will she be able to walk away from the adorable combination of father and son?

This is such a delightful story it left me with a big, happy smile on my face. I enjoyed it truly, it was a joy to watch Aiden Langford to fall, and to fall hard, not only for Sarah Daltrey but also for his son. The plot was well thought out, giving ample time in the ten days for Aiden and Sarah to have deep conversations, to get to know each other, and even have time together without little Oliver. The story had a natural flow and I was enjoying it so much I read it in one sitting. Aiden Langford was so down to earth, even though a rich and powerful man. He charm was genuine, and his own struggles with his family made him determined to put his little Oliver first and always make him feel loved. Aiden treated Sarah as an equal, with respect and care, his kindness and considerate actions were admirable, making him a character easy to like and root for. Sarah Daltrey had broken her heart while working as a nanny and was determined to make her clothing line to be a success, so she never had to return to her nanny days again. She is determined, independent, gracious, and warmhearted. She says what's on her mind without being mean or hurtful. I liked how Aiden and Sarah interacted with each other and with Oliver. The attraction was powerful, yet there was more than that between them as well. The support and compassion they showed to each other were steadfast, the love they both had for Oliver was a connection that made them seek for compromises and middle ground from the start. A captivating story that was easy to get lost in with alluring characters lusciously falling in love. I smiled and sighed through it with the entertaining twists in the story dazzling me until the fragile deepening emotions, growing between the characters, elevated all the feelings gripping my heart. Oh, the glee of a great read! ~ Four Spoons with a teaspoon on the side

Karen Booth continues the Langford family story with Aiden. The oldest of the Langford kids, he’s carried a bit of a chip on his shoulder from the way his family has treated him. When Sarah Daltrey shows up after multiple times of trying to contact him, he sees right before his eyes how quickly his life has just changed. Aiden sees a chance to give his son a childhood he never had and Sarah’s hoping she walks away with her heart intact. Aiden’s story covers the emotional gamut of going from bachelor to single father and how to make it all work. It was nice to get to see him interact with his siblings Adam and Anna again and finally get a tiny piece of closure on part of his past between him and his mother. He wanted space in every aspect of his life to not have entanglements…until Oliver came along. Although there are a couple of spots where Aiden shows he is trying to adjust to his new life he seems to shift roles pretty quickly which took me a bit by surprise that we don’t see him having a little more of a struggle. As Oliver’s legal guardian, Sarah was hoping to have everything taken care of easy peasy. Drop in, explain everything, hand over the child and move along. What she wasn’t expecting was her attachment to Oliver…and Aiden. After her last experience with being a nanny she had left that life behind and wanted to make a name for herself with her new business. Since there was the agreement of waiting for the paternity test Sarah sought advice from Aiden regarding her business and soon ends up with more than she bargained for. I liked Sarah and how she fought for what Oliver needed. The chemistry was there with Aiden and it made me look forward to seeing where the story was going to go at the end. I had been waiting for this story for a while to see if there was going to be a difference in Aiden from his previous appearances in the other Langford family books. He did not disappoint in this one, making The Ten Day Baby Takeover worth the read!
