Paul Harrison, AIA, is the author of the books Where’s My Zen? and The Ten Paradoxes: The Science of Where’s My Zen?, written under the pen name Master Nomi. An architect by trade, Paul has had a passion for Zen for the past 30 years. He has studied both the practices of the ancient Zen masters and the latest medical neuroscience—and found they dovetail and support each other in amazing ways. I found what I was looking for! I realized that the answer to our ultimate truth is not a secret written on a piece of paper and thrown into a raging river. I realized our categorical mind conceals the truth. The answer lies not in the river of our raging egos, but stepping outside of our ego to pure awareness. It’s that simple!
