Peter Christen As­bjørn­sen is most fa­mous for the Nor­wegian folk­lore he pub­lished in the mid­dle of the 19th cen­tury, to­gether with Jør­gen Moe. Tales such as “The Three Bil­ly-goats Gruff” and “East of the Sun and West of the Moon” are part of our world lit­era­ture.
