About the Author

Kate Pearce was born into a large family of girls in England, and spent much of her childhood living very happily in a dream world. Despite being told that she really needed to ‘get with the program’, she graduated from the University College of Wales with an honors degree in history. After graduation, real life did intervene and she ended up working in finance which was not the greatest career choice for a would-be writer!A move to the USA finally allowed her to fulfill her dreams and sit down and write that novel. Along with being a voracious reader, Kate loves trail riding with her family, ‘western style’ in the regional parks of Northern CaliforniaKate writes in several different romance sub-genres under different names. She is a member of RWA and is published by Kensington Aphrodisia, Ellora’s Cave and Virgin Black Lace/Cheek.

I am a fan of Kate Pearce and her House of Pleasures Series so I bought this and I totally enjoyed it. It was a nice read for one evening. She weaves a good tail and I loved the story of Arabella, James and Tom. Things aren't always what they seem. I'm glad Arabella was able to see that and have it all in the end.

*I love this author but this book of infidelity and sex was disappointing.. if he had deep feelings for his wife, why bring his whores home with him.. I doubt a wife was accept his proclamation of love so easily..

Fine story. A little abrupt and without much exploration of changing emotions, but a quick, sexy read.

Enjoyable read; however, this lacks the intensity of the "Simply" series. I do appreciate that it is self-contained and not one of the serialized chapters frequently passed off as short books.

I didn't mind the story line, despite it being an acceptance on both married couple to practice infidelity, and then it turning into a threesome couple. It was an okay read.
