Great Book!!!!! This book is full of adventure and history. It also has great pictures of the fashion in the era of the Titanic. Cannot wait for the next book to come out.

On the shelf at the used book store this book definitely caught my eye. The title involves time travel. LOVE! The girl on the cover looks like she is having a good time. I LOVE TO HAVE A GOOD TIME! And the blurb mentions the Titanic. SOLD! This book was just flat-out fun. There’s no deep story, no real fight for survival, but I didn’t go into the story expecting that. I was just looking for a lighter quick read and the book certainly delivers. Personally, I loved the illustrations in the book. They are on par with drawings I’ve seen fashion designers do. Plus each chapter is beautifully illuminated and there are full-page illuminated quotes throughout the books. All the illustrations are four-color and some of them span across two pages. So gorgeous! This book is a decent read for fans of the Titanic. It explores some of the social constructs of the time—lots of talk about class and discovering who you are and being true to yourself. A few historical figures are introduced. And is always the case in a Titanic novel, it’s a bit amazing to remember who was on the ship! I wouldn’t go into the story with any big hopes of discovering the meaning of life, but if you like time-travel and just want something fun and light-hearted, The Time-Traveling Fashionista on Board the Titanic should do you just fine.

My daughter LOVED these books.  Mixing fashion and history is an excellent way for teaching our girls and stirring their curiosity.  My daughter is anxiously awaiting word if the author plans on more books.  Highly recommend.

This book was mistakenly tucked away in the children's section of the store, so I innocently bought it for my 7 year old to read. She absolutely loved it! After I realized that it was really a book for the teen audience, I panicked and read the book to find out what content my innocent little girl had read. Other than a single comment about "periods", the book was amazing and so interesting. I've continue to purchase each of the new releases (prescreening them for too much content for my young daughter). They've all been just fine for her, and she reads them all over and over again. The artwork is beautiful, and the stories are really educational. Can't wait to see what time period will be next!
